Giving Tuesday is a movement to create an international day of giving at the commencement of the holiday season. This year, it falls on Tuesday, November 28th, 2017. We’ve included a message here for you to help spread the word on your social media.
This year, Greater Good Haiti has 36 students, starting with the Level 1 class, where they learn to read in Creole. In Level 2 they now read to learn. In Level 3, students are learning 5th & 6th grade material as well as an critical thinking and problem solving activities.
We are pleased to report that this year we sent 10 children to take the 6th Grade Matriculation Exam, and all of them passed and are now eligible to move on to high school. We now have 44 graduates from our program, and are extremely proud of all of them and what they have accomplished!
Each year we bring school supplies, shoes, school uniforms, and many other supplies that help make Greater Good Haiti run smoothly. Thank you to all of our supporters… your donations make our work possible, while fulfilling dreams of children in one small town in Haiti.
A huge thanks to Daniel Wentling and Marina de Pina-Jenkins for helping us paint the whole World on our classroom wall. It really means the World to us! The children had a great time helping to paint, and then their hard work paid off with a world geography lesson.
